Isn't it amazing how life in an instant can take a totally different turn? How an encounter with a person can change your whole life, how a person, in an instant can change your life. Those people we meet that can change the way we look at the world, people we might never have met before and might never meet again. Those people where the moment is so central and where that very moment means everything. How people can inspire us, how they can get to us, reach to us and really understand us from an encounter that might have lasted less than a minute. One moment that might affect us for the rest of our lives.
And yet, there are people you've known for years, that has never gotten to you, that hasn't changed your life and never will. People that you might have a good time and talk with each week, but people that will never quite understand what you are all about. You might still have connected with them and have a good time, but on a deeper level you'll never really connect. And then there are those people you might see every day that will never understand you or know you at all, even though you might work or go to school together, and yet there will never be any connection at all.
But the meeting with a person that changes your life and in less than a minute understands what you are all about. Those moments that we will never forget and always treasure, just because they've been so central in our lives, just because they've been so honest and exposed with a person that just understands you, just the way you are!
How sometimes, amongst thousands of people, all you need is one person to see you, just the way you are. How amongst hundreds of thousand people, there is only one person amongst them that get you, that get to you and get what you are all about. How one moment can be so crucial for the rest of your life.
